GradeVue Plus is designed to keep students' information private.

When a student logs in, their credentials are encrypted and stored only in an httpOnly session cookie in their own browser — GradeVue Plus's servers never store them. That encrypted cookie is sent back on each request so our server can sign in to the official student portal on the student's behalf and retrieve their information.

GradeVue Plus does not sell or share student data with third parties. The connection to the student portal happens over an encrypted connection, and grade and account data is cached only on the student's own device.
